Easy Portable Solar Generator Kits for Home or Travel
* Easy & Compact * Portable Emergency Power Supply
Do you need a backup electric power source for home outages or when you’re traveling on the road? Geneverse’s portable emergency power supply is compact and easy to use, plus you can use it to run a variety of smaller appliances without having to buy a larger generator.
This portable backup power supply kit makes it simple to access emergency electricity when you need it. Plus, the unit comes with AC outlets, a 12-volt outlet and USB ports as well. Therefore, you can charge a variety of different appliances, and you run them simultaneously if you want.
And, when you need to re-charge the HomePower ONE, just plug it into a wall outlet, your vehicle’s car charger or connect it to solar panels. (AC charging works fastest, taking about 7 hours.)
Note: Do you want a solar generator for just a few small appliances, phones, laptops, etc..? I suggest checking out the smallest package: the HomePower ONE with 2 solar panels. You can save money while still having assurance that you have backup power when you need it.
Advantages of Having a Portable Emergency Power Supply:
Weighing only 24 pounds, the Geneverse HomePower ONE is lightweight and easy to carry. As a result, it’s convenient to use both at home or when you travel.
Note: I really like the freedom that a portable solar generator gives me. I don’t worry so much if the power goes out at home or if I’m on a long road trip. I always know I have backup power with me that I can rely on.
Some people keep it in their vehicle for off-site work or camping trips to power up electronics, lights, portable fridges and other camping gear. Alternatively, you can store it at home in case of a power outage emergency.
You can re-charge the generator from a wall outlet at home, your car, or by using the solar panels. Plus, you can use devices plugged into the generator while the generator is actually re-charging. Super versatile and practical!
Of course, these smaller power packs won’t keep a large fridge running or allow you to operate your dishwasher. That said, a small generator may be all you need to power up your smaller essential devices (and for less money).
Note: Geneverse also gives you the option to buy larger power systems that allow you run large appliances, TVs, microwaves, etc.. In fact, they support 99% of home appliances and can provide up to 7 days of emergency power for your home.
The downside is that these generators weigh more and are not easy to move like the smaller versions. And they cost more – but you don’t have to worry about installation cost, permits or maintenance to get this renewable energy for your home.
How to Maximize the Efficiency of Your Solar Panels:
1. First of all, you want to choose panels that use monocrystalline solar cells vs polycrystalline. Monocrystalline panels (although they cost more) have greater efficiency and up to a 50% conversion rate over traditional solar panels. As a result, they re-charge your generator faster and work better, even with less sunlight.
2. Second, you want to keep the panel surface clean. Remove any dust or dirt by using a soft brush and clean using a soft, damp cloth. Don’t use abrasive cleaners or scrubbers, as they can create scratches and lower the effectiveness of the panels.
3. Third, set up the panels in direct sun, ideally at a 90 degree angle (panels come with adjustable kickstands). If in doubt as to the best placement, you can check the re-charge speed on your power generator. Then, adjust the angle and check to see if the charging rate increases.
4. Fourth, keep in mind that sunlight will usually be strongest in the middle of the day when the sun is high. So, use this time to your advantage and set your solar panels out early rather than later in the day.
